We’re back this June/July with a new album and are also lucky enough to have just been announced as part of this amazing line up! Further information on the tour can be found here. “Loveless” out June 28th via UNFD.
First of all thank you so much for your response to the new single. We can’t wait to show you this new album - you have no idea how much work it takes to self-produce and record your own record, not to mention handling all the artwork and video scripts etc. It makes it that much more fulfilling when people appreciate what you’ve done!
We’ve had a lot of people ask us about the departure of Luke Domic from our band. We’re still great friends with Luke, however it seems that the lifestyles we lead has forced us to part ways. He is an incredible dude and we wish him all the best on the journey ahead, we are all incredibly grateful that we are able to remain friends through this experience.
With the bad comes the good though as this has given us the opportunity to welcome our friend Zach Britt to the band as a Singer/Guitarist. We met Zach on the road 3 years ago and have been friends ever since, so needless to say it was an easy fit. Zach was formerly the front man of Brisbane band The Dream The Chase, and is current frontman for Young Lions. We hope you all welcome him as part of the Dream On Dreamer family, he is an incredibly gifted individual and we can’t wait for you all to hear what he has to offer on our full-length.
In addition to this, this has opened up the opportunity for our keyboardist Daniel Jungwirth (Deej) to move to bass, which means we can be a five piece moving forward. Deej is a great bass player and the move has made us tighter and made it easier for us to keep touring all over the world with less members traveling around!
Make sure you give Zach a big warm welcome!

Tune into Triple J - SHORT FAST LOUD tonight at 10pm and listen to our first single ‘The World In Front Of Me’ from our new album #LOVELESS
It is with regret that we have the following announcement to make, but best you hear it first hand from our Bassist / Vocalist Mcoy, so we’ll pass the mic to him:
To all Dream On Dreamer fans and family.
I have both incredible and saddening news. I feel it is better to start with the incredible news first, and that is that my girlfriend and I have been rewarded with the news that in April next year we will be expecting our first child.
The saddening news is that after much conversation and planning, we have had to make the decision that I can no longer continue to play in Dream On Dreamer. This band has been my life for the last three and a half years and although I will miss it greatly, what lies ahead promises to be the most fulfilling and rewarding thing in my life and we can not wait.
I feel that although I have full support from my girlfriend, family and friends in continuing to pursue my goals and dreams, I felt like I had no option but too step down from my position in Dream On Dreamer. It was not only my dream I was chasing but mine was only one of six, and I have to respect what the other guys are wanting to achieve with this band. As you know Dream on Dreamer has always been a band that wants to reach fans all over the world, and that’s exactly what they will continue to do and I hope you continue the support you have always given me, as I’ll be busy changing dirty nappies and singing hot potato along with the wiggles.
The past few years have been such an incredible ride and I have loved every moment of it. But In saying that it’s had just as many hard times too. Being in a band is a massive commitment financially and emotionally. We have had up’s and downs and overcome a lot. We achieved amazing results in such a short time which had seen us play to thousands of people all over the world. I’ve travelled hours on the open road to play shows, I’ve slept on floors, stages and in vans, scrounged up what little money I had just to eat on day’s while touring but I would not change it for the world.
I have no one more to thank than you guy’s, the fans. You stuck by me and supported us every step of the way and helped me achieve things I thought were not even possible. And I hope you will continue to do so in the future.
The Dreamer boys are some of my best friends in the world and I will stay close with them forever. I know they are going to keep moving around the world and doing everything they can, and I will try to stay involved wherever I can. Thank you so much to every fan and friend I have had the pleasure of meeting world wide and band I’ve shared the stage with. I will miss you all and hope I meet you all again in the future.
For now, I’ll be playing all the upcoming shows - The Movember Mayhem tour and the New Years Eve shows. I hope you all can come out and help me finish this incredible chapter of my life in the best possible way. I know this music chapter of my life has not completely closed but for now I have to bookmark this page.
The boys new album next year is going to rule hard, make so please make sure you pick it up and continue to support amazing music.
Michael “Mcoy” McLeod
The remaining members of Dream On Dreamer would firstly like to say a huge thankyou to Mcoy, our brother who we are proud of beyond any words we can say. He has been a solid rock and one of the most talented humans we’ve ever met. We can’t wait to meet his baby and watch his family grow. Family ALWAYS comes first and we see this man as our family, and his family as part of our band forever.
We don’t have news yet on a new vocalist, but for now come and see us on the Movember Mayhem tour and give Mcoy the send off he deserves.
Everyone take care of yourselves
